Our ground bars are characterised by good straightness and roundness as well as a fine surface. Ground bars are available in the diameter range of 12 to 100 millimetres in all steel grades included in our production programme. They can also be delivered in a heat-treated condition.
To make the selection of an appropriate grade easier, we have grouped our ground bars in three product groups:
Rough-ground bars
Our rough-ground bars are suitable for manufacturing processes with high demands on the straightness and roundness of the raw material. Read more »

We offer a wide assortment of fine-ground bars in the standard execution. The bars are precision machined and have very accurately defined properties. The standard diameter tolerance of fine-ground bars is h8. Read more »
Fine-ground bars, special
Many applications require properties and tolerances clearly exceeding those offered by standard products, perhaps greater demands on straightness, in propeller shafts for instance, or stringent roundness requirements, in linear guides for example.
