This summer, Ovako colleagues across the globe joined the Ovako Summer Challenge – capturing their favorite summer spots with the Ovako bag. The response was fantastic, with around 230 photos submitted from our employees. We are delighted to see such creativity and engagement, and grateful that so many wanted to share their summer moments with us.
“This is the second summer we invite our colleagues to take part in a voluntary summer activity. At first it can feel a bit uncertain to join in, but it doesn’t take long before the creativity and engagement shine through. It’s a real joy to see how our people connect – this time by sharing their special summer moments with each other,” says Saiva Zalkalns, Director Group Communication at Ovako
The winning photo came from Jani Liukka in Imatra, Finland, whose entry captured the Nordic spirit with humor and originality. As first prize, Jani wins an e-bike.
“I’ve been dreaming of an e-bike for a long time. There are plenty of great forest trails nearby that make you want to go on longer rides. Imatra and its surrounding areas offer excellent settings for all kinds of outdoor activities, including mountain biking”, says the winner Jani Liukka
